Big investment in the future

A brand-new 3,000-student high school is on the way

In November 2025, Royal ISD voters passed a historic bond to build a new state-of-the-art high school for 3,000 students, with doors expected to open for the 2028–29 school year — a major commitment to the families moving into this booming corridor.

Falcon athletics & activities

Royal High School fields the Falcons at Falcon Stadium in Brookshire, with football, volleyball, basketball, track, band, and a full lineup of clubs and Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs — including the district's new CTE Expo Center.

A school site inside the community

Sofi Lakes' master plan reserves an 11.8-acre school site right inside the neighborhood. As the community grows, that could put a campus within a short walk or bike ride of home — the kind of convenience families dream about.
